Jackson made his first trip to the beach this weekend to Chincoteague Island, Virginia. That is where each year they drive the wild ponies across the Bay from Assateague Island to Chincoteague Island for Pony Penning Day which was imortallized by the book Misty of Chincoteague. We had to buy a copy of the book and get a little plush Misty for Jackson. 
Jackson didn't know what to think of the sand at first, but he eventually made his way off the blanket and into the sand. Needless to say, we had sand everywhere.
We had a great time playing together.
