Today was Jackson's first day of school. We decided that it was time for him to be around some more kids his own age, so he started going to school two days a week.
He picked out his own backpack and of course, picked one that was Cars themed.
Mommy was a little sad, but she kept a stiff upper lip and didn't let on.
Here's the big boy with his new teacher, Miss Starr. He told me he likes her because, "she has a neat name." He couldn't wait to get home to tell us all about his day and what he did and what he made. I hope he stays this excited about school for the next twenty-or-so years till he gets out of grad school.
