Ooooooo....Firetrucks!

Today we went to see some antique firetrucks. Chick-Fil-A had a promotion called Blaze and Glory, where they were giving away free spicy sandwiches and displaying these cool antique fire trucks from Independence, MO. Since there was something to thrill both of my boys, I thought we should go. Jackson was thrilled. The trucks were gorgeous and their stories even better. This hook and ladder truck is from 1950. It had a useful 30-year life span.

One of the highlights of Jackson's day was the new hat he got. It's just like Mr. Ron's...well, sort of. For me, it was the small details of these trucks made them even more interesting.
