Hey, where is Yellow Sub and the Glass Onion?

We drove through campus and were surprised to see two of our favorite haunts, and the buildings that housed them, gone. In its place was this fabulous hotel--the Oread.

The hotel is made of native Kansas limestone...so appropriate for a building on the KU Campus.

We enjoyed lunch at one of the restaurants.

And took a walk around to some of the other places in the hotel.

We'll be back...maybe for dinner on this deck.
